This company uses fresh and clean ingredients from eco-friendly environments and sells ttokbokki, various kinds of noodles, and meat stocks. Among different products, ttokbokki is the most popular product. Even foreigners can cook easily with the simple ingredients: rice cakes (directly produced from Korea) and sweet and spicy sauce. Thus, different brands of Sandol Food Co., Ltd. are exported to different countries.

Today, I would like to introduce you about Cheese Ttokbokki.  Nowadays, Koreans love to eat fusion cuisine and add cheese in different kinds of food (Here, in ttokbokki too!) Especially, if you add cheese in spicy foods, you can reduce the spiciness but at the same time, can enhance the sweetness and cheesy flavor.  Wow. Full of cheese in the rice cakes! Just by looking at them, I already feel the deliciousness.

There are 400g of rice cakes in a small package. Since there is no sauce included, you can just use these cheese rice cakes to cook different kinds of dishes. Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, is very well known with Dak-galbi (Spicy Stir-fried Chicken), so if you put these rice cakes in there, it would get even more delicious. Also, you can add these kinds to original ttokbokki or you can even make skewers with them.

Here is the recipe to cook Cheese Ttokbokki.
(400g of rice cakes are for 2-4 servings).
1. Wash the rice cakes before cooking
2. Put the washed rice cakes, 300cc of water, and 150g of Cheongwoorim Spicy Ttokbokki Sauce into the pot and boil them until the rice cakes get soften. (Approximately for 5-6 minutes)
3. According to your preferences, you can add Cheongwoorim Jjolmyeon (Chewy Noodle), vegetables, fish balls, or boiled eggs to make it more delicious. Very simple, isn't it? I didn't prepare any other ingredients, but just used the sauce from Cheongwoorim Mini Seasoned Ttokbokki.

I just washed the rice cakes. You don’t have to soak them.

Just put the rice cakes, 300cc of water, and the sauce. It will be done just by boiling them! Very easy. You can add or reduce the water amount according to your preferences. Since I like spicy food, I just added some red pepper powder.

Look! Just the right amount of water and well cooked cheese rice cakes! Every time you chew the rice cakes, you taste the cheese and it reduces the spiciness but makes it more delicious at the same time. I think it is just perfect for foreigners who can’t eat spicy food.

If you add more stuff, such as vegetables or instant noodle, it can also be good enough for one meal.

Look at the rice cake! Full of cheese. I can feel the strong cheese taste and it is very soft too; very well blended with spicy sauce. I think I can have two dishes in a row.
